Dessert Sushi Fun with Food for Kids in the Kitchen

Dessert Sushi for Kids by Chef Pharrell from My Cool Kid Cooks

Dessert Sushi Fun with Food for Kids in the Kitchen

One of my favorite things to end a cooking class party with is the Jr. Top Chef Dessert Event.  This is something that came out of one of those events.   I though I would share it because it is so creative and fun for the kids to make.

The ingredients are:

Fruit Roll Ups, Chocolate Teddy Grahams, Vanilla Wafers, Shredded Coconut, Large Marshmallows, Maraschino Cherries, Vanilla Frosting, Color Tooth Picks, Colored Straws.

Directions:
Have your child smash the cookies into crumbs with a can of soup or equivalent.

Roll the marshmallows in the vanilla frosting, then roll with either the coconut or cookie crumbs.

Top with a cherry on a toothpick.

Roll the fruit leather onto each straw the make the "Chopsticks"

Enjoy making this with your kids!
